All started when Kanye West decided to drop 1 free track every Friday some months before releasing the album "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy". The famous rapper created "G.O.O.D. Fridays" where every Friday a new free song were available for donload featuring his G.O.O.D. music family and not only!!!
Lloyd Banks followed Kanye's example but stopped dropping songs after some weeks.
Then it was Swizz Beatz with his "Monster Mondays" releasing 1 free song every Monday up to now.
Snoop Dogg followed the example of 1-song-per-week-release but he did something else. The West coast rapper dropped 1 song via iTunes every Tuesday ("PuffPuffPassTuesdays") from his then forthcoming album "Doggumentary".
Finally Timbaland started releasing 1 free song every Thursday from the beginning of 2011 up to now on his "TimbalandThursdays" site.
